Bay Area artist. I’m currently working on a series of paintings exploring neutral colors and tonality.

Abstract expressionism, color, and the landscape are my main influences. I create paintings that are about texture and color. When someone looks at my work, I want them to find space to slow down and reflect. 

My process is fairly simple; after an initial painting is established, I like to draw into the painting and apply many layers of paint. What comes across are memories of layers; you see the painting and the history of the process. I work in all painting mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, encaustic, and oil.
